Olivia has been a certified Event Planner since 2010 and became Certified by the Wedding Planning Institute of Canada in 2020. Olivia's entire Team is certified in Events and has planned weddings and events for upwards of 400 people, they have been beautifully designed and seamlessly executed. Olivia is YEG's only Wedding Coordinator specializing in Wedding Day Management, which includes a 30-minute initial consultation, assistance with day-of timeline, assistance with floor plans/seating charts, vendor communication of timeline, vendor contract reviews, direct contact for all day-of vendors, ceremony & reception site visit, attendance & coordination of ceremony rehearsal, supervised ceremony & reception set up, set up of decor, wedding day coordination, overseeing wedding day schedule and distributions of final payments to vendors.

In July 2018, I took the leap and launched my passion project – Olivia Fata Assisting + Planning – Olivia Fata Events is one half of this project.
I became a certified Event Planner in 2010 and possess an Event Management Certificate from NAIT. I have years’ worth of experience, exclusively working in hotels, restaurants, and catering. I thrive in high-stress situations and specialize in day-of coordination; whether you need someone from set-up to tear-down or just to ensure everything is running according to schedule, I will be there to provide you with peace of mind and ensure that your event goes off flawlessly. With my services, you can expect full communication from the day you book, throughout your entire event.
The second half of my business is assisting! I believe they go hand-in-hand.
