Working with Nicky was easily the best decision I made for my wedding. Nicky provided day of coordination services, but was so much more than just day of coordination. It was like brainstorming with a best friend. He was always kind, professional, fun, and so knowledgeable. He made the most fantastic vendor recommendations, and even helped me coordinate string lights for my venue with less than 48 hours notice. He was always a voice of reason, and had the best suggestions for decor. I gave him creative reign on a couple of pieces for my ceremony and reception, and what he put together was breathtaking. He was so present and involved on the day of, even my friends and family sang his praises. I can, with confidence, say my wedding would not have been the same without him. Nicky, thank you SO much!!

I wish there were more than 5 stars to give Nicky and his team! We had an absolutely perfect day and I credit that entirely to One and Only Events and Nicky. I wanted a very simple wedding that still exuded luxury and Nicky took our vision and made it a reality. What set Nicky apart from other planners and day-of coordinators for me is that he has such an open mind, such a positive energy, and clearly a wealth of experience and I thankfully thoroughly benefitted from it! He was also able to pivot so easily when things changed (or at least he made it look easy!).

Nicky (as our Partial Planner and Day Of Coordinator) was dedicated to helping our special day come together successfully! Throughout the process he was available to reply to emails with support, suggestions, information, and even opinions when asked, and was very organized and focused during phone calls. The decor options were extremely helpful, with classy and tasteful selections. Nicky was knowledgeable and thoughtfully kind! In our view, our day was perfect. We were able to confidently embrace the day knowing all was taken care of, and ended up thrilled with how everything looked and flowed so smoothly; the decor, the rapport with venue and staff, and the way it all helped our friends and family enjoy and celebrate with us! We have had so much positive feedback, and we know that so much is thanks to Nicky and One and Only Events! 🙂

Nicky is a gem, he will go out of his way to make your day special! He worked with my husband and I throughout the planning process, making sure that everything was coordinated and prepared for our special day. He will be mindful of small details (that often get overlooked), and will also remind you to think of the weather on the day of the wedding. He recommended that we switch our ceremony location (originally supposed to be at Stanley Park Rose Garden, which is partially on a slope) to somewhere indoors, and we were able to avoid the rain!! The day of the wedding, he even brought us food from the kitchen before our reception so we had energy to keep going. Our wedding day was wildly busy, we were so grateful to have all of his help!

Nicky was the absolute BEST and I could not recommend him enough. I had a little less than 1 month to plan our wedding which I thought would have been incredibly stressful. But he handled everything so seamlessly, understood my vision, gave me lots of tips to keep to my budget, coordinated with all my vendors, created an effective timeline, put together my decor (which my friends were all raving about)... I can go on and on. He was just so on top of everything.
We enjoyed our whole day completely stress free. Thank you so much for everything Nicky. Any couple who books you for their wedding is going to be so lucky to have you!

Nicky has been the best wedding planner anyone could ever ask for. He helped us plan our wedding from start to finish and was on top of everything from the beginning.
