I have always been a creative person and the world of photography opened my eyes to another passion that I never knew I had. Capturing real emotions and creating a special time where they felt nothing else mattered then being in the now. When I stopped photography I wasn’t sure where things would take me. 10 years later I am now a wedding and silk floral designer with a showroom made of dreams. I create and design based on photographs and what I feel is important to capture. When your guests are gone and the day is over, the images and memories are what linger. Hopefully, they capture everything and more. What excites me the most is knowing that every day I walk in to a new start. Whether it be a new client, a new build or a new design. Hello! I am Laura, One Day Affairs WPIC Certified wedding coordinator and stylist. I walked into the wedding world 7 years ago with a background in interior design and hands-on experience in the fashion industry. I managed a bridal salon and fell in love with helping soonly-weds find one of the most important looks of their lives. After planning my own dream wedding I knew I had to lean into my creative side to collaborate with couples on their entire event. Working with Shannon for the last 3 years as a Stylist has solidified my destiny to design. Being a part of the decor process from concept to construction is inspiring, and had me wanting more. Now as a Day of Coordinator, couples come to me when they have a soft idea for their big day, and want to partner with someone to lead them down the right path. I have the opportunity to give expert advice during their planning process, and give them confidence they can walk down the aisle stress free. With a passion for piecing together the perfect details I am inspired to bring any wedding vision to life and ensure the event is executed flawlessly!
