Firstly, having been guests at an extensive wedding she had planned, we knew she was capable of handling anything we threw her way. Plus, her status as a preferred vendor with UBC Boathouse made the decision even easier. Vinelli's understanding of cultural aspects, like the tea ceremony we wanted to include, was another big plus for us. But perhaps the most important reason we hired her was to ensure our friends and family could relax and enjoy the day without worrying about the details – and Vinelli delivered that. On the day of the wedding, she was cool, collected, and confident, handling all vendor logistics seamlessly. Despite any glitches that occurred behind the scenes, we didn't notice a single problem, thanks to Vinelli's expert management. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how smoothly everything ran, and we were able to be present and calm from start to finish, knowing Vinelli had everything under control. She took charge when necessary but never showed a moment of panic, putting us at ease throughout the entire process. We opted for the "Michelle" package, which included month-of planning, ongoing communication, check-in meetings, and 10 hours of service on the day of. We even received a discount referral and added 2 extra hours, bringing the total to 12 – a testament to Vinelli's flexibility and dedication to her clients. Though this package required us to book our own vendors, it worked perfectly for us given our available time. And with Vinelli's strong relationships with her sisters, who played a crucial role in coordinating decorations and ensuring everything ran smoothly on the day of, we felt like we had a dream team supporting us every step of the way. In short, Vinelli, thank you for allowing us to be fully present and enjoy every aspect of our wedding day. Your professionalism, reassurance, and impeccable planning made it a day we'll cherish forever.

In addition to serving as our wedding planner, Power of Threee, specifically Kim Rumbaua (sister of Vinelli) also provided floral and decor services, and we couldn't have been happier with the results. They made the entire process a breeze, from start to finish. Working with Kim was a delight – she was super easy to work with and incredibly accommodating to our budget and vision. We wanted something simple yet beautiful, and she delivered beyond our expectations. Even with our preference for simplicity, the venue looked absolutely stunning. We're not big flower enthusiasts, but we still wanted the space to feel decorated. Kim nailed it by using mostly silk flowers in bud vases on the tables. They looked incredibly photogenic, and no one even questioned whether they were real or not! We brought some of our own decorations, and Power of Threee provided the rest, seamlessly blending everything together to create a cohesive look that perfectly complemented the space.
One thing we particularly loved was how Kim repurposed the florals and decor from the ceremony to the reception, allowing us to stay well within our budget without sacrificing style. Their extensive inventory of decor items made planning and envisioning the space incredibly easy. Kim was an absolute joy. She was incredibly sweet, easy to chat with, and understood our vision from the get-go. In summary, working with Kim was a dream come true. Her professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail made our wedding day truly special, and we couldn't be more grateful. The power of threee is worth every penny! I loved every single detail of my wedding, and I did not even have to stress about a single thing! They were always a step ahead of every single issue and made everything run smoothly. They are very easy to talk to, know what they are doing, and always kept my state of “well-being?” at the forefront of everything. I had no stress and didn’t even realize there was an issue because, again, they are always a step ahead!

We really don't even know where to start. There's so many things that we want to mention and highlight that it's difficult to put it all into one review.

We had Vinelli as our partial planner for our wedding, but her title doesn't do justice to how far and beyond she went above her role. From the get-go, she got a read on the exact type of people we were and what vision we had for our big day. Every fun-filled monthly meeting we had got us one step closer to making our big day a reality; we got the important stuff covered, yet always had a blast and had more than a few laughs in the process. Whenever a curveball was thrown, she would set it right back on track, always ready and prepared with a practical solution.

Our wedding day was an absolute dream. We loved Vinelli so much that we actually asked her to MC for us as well, and somehow, being the superhuman that she is (with some very, very much appreciated assistance from her sister), she managed to do both that AND direct a seamless wedding. It wasn't just us as well; on multiple occasions, we saw and heard our guests approaching her and telling her that 'this is the best/funnest/most well planned wedding ever", and that, to us, meant everything.

Thank you so, SO much, Vinelli. We literally owe it all to you, and will eternally be recommending you as a wedding planner to anyone and everyone we know!

We were so happy to have hired powerofthreee for our wedding planning and decor needs! Vinelli is extremely knowledgeable in the wedding industry and has fantastic vendors that work with her. We chose the partial planning package and felt like this was the perfect amount of customization on our end, without having to worry about the small stuff, timeline, logistics etc. Our wedding day went so smoothly and even now, a few months later, we’re getting compliments about how organized and on time it was. I know everyone has a story, especially during the last few weeks, months and years with the pandemic. All the complications, date changes, restrictions- it's been challenging nonetheless. Imagine putting yourself in this situation, putting a date for a wedding two years down the line and just hoping everything goes well. It's like throwing a football and running for it at the same time, hoping that you will be there when it lands at the exact moment and catching it perfectly.

Imagine not knowing a single thing about planning a wedding to the most modest and intricate detail. Also, imagine with three months before the date of the wedding, having to find another venue because the one you chose decided to have labour issues. Vinelli and her team were our saving grace. To be the calm in the storm, a piece of needed advice, and the voice in the room that executes the decisions and actions that are needed- Vinelli was all of that. To also have a family that is not afraid of feedback, and that are quick to say "I told you so" but not quick to say "you're right", Vinelli gave us the space to make the decisions and be at peace with them.

Let's be clear here: our wedding would not have been in the least bit successful without Vinelli. There are couples here reading this (congrats if you made this far in my post), still trying to decide what to do- afraid of making a mistake or a bad decision- perhaps stressed with the weight of all these choices that need to be made. TL;DR: With powerofthreee, you will actually enjoy your wedding day AND the entire planning process. I had an absolute blast, connected with amazing people, and saved some coins, what more can I ask?

I genuinely would not have survived wedding planning during the pandemic and medical school without Powerofthreee on board! Vinelli was our main point of contact, planner and coordinator and she was an absolute dream to work with. We had to postpone our wedding from 2021 to 2022 because of COVID and Vinelli took care of contacting all our vendors and ensuring that everyone was on board for the new date.

Leading up to our May 2022 wedding, my schedule was absolutely insane with multiple 24+ hours call shifts per week, which made wedding planning even more stressful, but Vinelli was so flexible, patient, and understanding throughout the entire process. Every time things got overwhelming and I felt like I was on the verge of a breakdown, all it took was a quick check in (or not so quick rant LOL) with Vinelli and I immediately felt reassured. She was always so calm, cool, collected, confident, and in control. That's the energy every bride needs!

The one thing I prioritized when selecting our vendors was honesty and I really appreciated that Vinelli gave it to us straight and never hesitated to offer advice when we asked! I also don't really know much about weddings and always had so many questions, so it was amazing to have a team who is so experienced and knowledgeable. It felt great to have the inside scoop on everything. They are connected to so many amazing vendors and we honestly got the best deals.

Kim was in charge of our decorations and florals and we were absolutely blown away! All I did was send over my Pinterest board and she made all my dreams come true.

During the day of the wedding, I was so blissfully unaware of all the chaos that were taking place in the background. It wasn't until the debrief meeting that I found out all the things that could have gone wrong, but didn't because of Vinelli and Kim! I didn't have a single worry about anything during the day of the wedding and I enjoyed every single second of it. Looking back, it was the most magical day that I want to relive again and again!

My number one advice to other brides out there would be to have a day of coordinator, and really consider having a kickass planner team, like powerofthreee. With them, I was 100% worry-free during the day, and the entire process. Not to mention, the good deals and connections are amazing perks.

Having Powerofthreee on board is honestly an absolute vibe and the best decision I made during the wedding planning process. It's been almost a month and I already miss their beautiful faces so much! I can't emphasize enough how wonderful it was working with Vinelli. She did so much more than just being a DOC - the value and professionalism she brought forth is ABOVE and BEYOND. Not only did I notice this, but my now-husband (who at first was skeptical as we were trying to keep cost down and my venue came with a "day-of coordinator") as well as my bridal party all agreed that having Vinelli there was money well, well, well spent.

Planning a wedding during a pandemic was extremely tricky and added an extra level of stress. Vinelli took that stress away from us, she made sure that we were kept up-to-date with the constantly changing restrictions which allowed to us to make changes when needed so that we could celebrate safely. She caught details (even the minute ones), that I completely missed! She contacted my vendors ahead of the event to make sure that everyone was on the same page and made sure that the decorations I asked for from my decor vendor were all there on the day-of and in places where I wanted them to go.

The small personal touches she added is what stood out the most: the message I received the morning-of reminding me to breathe and to pause; and most importantly, to reflect and draw inspiration on what mattered most. Vinelli was not only MY advocate throughout this process, but she also became my now-husband’s advocate. Her vision and care extends beyond “the bride” – this, is what sets her apart.
