My husband and I decided on a spring wedding! Everything would be fresh and new. New beginnings! However, our wedding day was on Sunday April 15, 2018, and Toronto was in the midst of the worst day of the worst ice storm to impact southern Ontario.

On the day of the wedding, very early in the morning, Jodi sent out a bulletin to us and our vendors, reminding everyone to take extra time, and to be safe, on the roads. When I got to the venue, it was lovely, and looked just like I envisioned it would. The ice storm was raging outside, but the venue was perfect on the inside. Elegant, and classy! Jodi managed to oversee everything so that it was exactly what we wanted. Our MC was unable to make the wedding, because of the storm, and Jodi was able to walk my aunt and uncle through the program, flawlessly, even through the surprise solo of my husband singing to me! Our guests had no idea they were filling in for our original MC! Jodi, did that!

From the moment Jodi came on board, she handled the vendors, the timelines, the tightening up of loose ends, and she was always accessible to us. She was necessary, and amazing. Our wedding would not have been the success it was, had it not been for her input, and care. She makes you feel special, because she genuinely cares about you and your special day. Her favourite saying to us was, “I’ve got your back!” And she did!

My husband and I can happily and heartily recommend Jodi, as the wedding planner you need, to make your day as special as you want it to be! (Even in the midst of a mega ice storm).

Jodi helped us so much. We worked with her for a year and she helped every step along the way. From planning, dealing with vendors, getting us discounts, scheduling the event, and just generally answering our questions whenever. Her service is indispensable! On the wedding day, she was at our wedding from noon to 1 AM. She decorated the entire place, and every guest commented on how great the place looks. She also handled the clean-up and packing and made sure we got home safely at the end of the night! She is a magic worker!

Hiring Jodi as our ‘day of coordinator’ was hands down the easiest and best decisions we made!! We started trying to plan our wedding on our own and quickly got overwhelmed and unsure of how much things typically cost. After our consultation meeting with Jodi, we knew we needed her! Her professionalism, kindness and experience were evident from the moment we spoke to her.

Jodi was so much more than a day of coordinator, she helped us along the whole way through recommending incredible vendors, reviewing vendor contracts, creating timelines and communicating with vendors leading up to our wedding. We weren't sure if we needed a wedding planner, but it was worth every penny! Jodi went above and beyond our expectations. She helped us plan for our wedding early and within our budget, which made the months leading up to the wedding much less stressful. The night before the wedding she helped make a beautiful arbor after we had to change ceremony locations, dropped off items we forget at 10pm, and most importantly kept my mom calm! She thought of all the little things, including making sure on a hot summer there was always a water bottle nearby. Our wedding was back in 2018 (very late post!), but I still look back on it as the perfect day. I was able to actually ENJOY our dream wedding thanks to her!
