  Dream Wedding Coordinator!

  I recently had the pleasure of working with Jenna who stepped in at the last minute and truly saved my wedding day. It is with immense gratitude and admiration that I write this review to express my sincere appreciation for her efforts.
  
  From the very first phone call, Jenna exuded confidence and reassurance, alleviating our anxiety and putting us at ease. She listened attentively to our plans, dreams, and concerns, making note of every detail. Her ability to adapt swiftly and effortlessly was nothing short of miraculous. She displayed a level of professionalism, dedication, and expertise that surpassed all our expectations.
  
  Jenna displayed exceptional organizational skills throughout the entire process.   Amazing day with Jenna!

  Jenna was so professional and fun to work with on our wedding day this past July. It was honestly impressive to see how she juggled all the tiny details of our wedding day - playing music on a speaker for our first dance, putting donuts on our donut wall, setting up and taking down decor, and managing vendors onsite to name a few. She was also available before our big day for a venue walk-through, and to help us go through the flow of the ceremony at our rehearsal dinner. Jenna was super easy to communicate with and was always flexible to answer questions over email or Zoom. We would not have had such an amazing day without Jenna and her team!

  Money well spent!

  We hired Jenna as our day-of-coordinator for our wedding day and it was one of the best decisions we made! She was so incredible to work with from start to finish. Jenna was available to answer all my planning questions and offer feedback leading up to our wedding day. Additionally, she made sure to reach out to all our vendors to confirm their services and go over our timeline, which was so appreciated. When it came to our wedding day, Jenna went above and beyond. She went out of her way and offered to pick up our florals and bring them to our venue, which made our morning of much less stressful. She brought the vision I had for our ceremony and venue decor to reality with her decorating skills and keen attention to detail. Following our reception, not only did Jenna and her team take down all our decor but she offered to store our items for us so that we could fully enjoy our wedding weekend. We were truly blown away with how seamless and perfect our day went and how at ease we were throughout the day, all thanks to Jenna & her team! If you are looking to feel fully present on your wedding day and reassured that your big day will go perfectly do yourself a favour and hire Something New Wedding Planning!

  Highly Reccommend

  Highly recommend using Somethingnew YYC wedding planning. Jenna and Kim allowed my husband and I to fully enjoy the day with zero stress. Jenna was very helpful is planning leading up to the wedding and did everything behind the scenes the day of. I gave her free eange is setting up the decor and it was beautiful. She was prompt and very organized. I had nothing to worry about and was able to fully enjoy the day.

  Jenna's experience made my wedding easy

  Jenna's attention to detail, and experience doing many wedding's made my day effortless! Leading up she was able to answer all my questions and provide guidance, and went above and beyond by picking up decor/dropping it. Day of went so smoothly, I could actually relax and enjoy the wedding.

As our day of coordinator, she kept us on time for all of the major events, along with setting up & tearing down our venue with such ease, you can tell this is her passion. She handled all problems, big or small, with such ease and professionalism that we didn’t know there were issues until after our big day was complete.   Wedding Day Coordinator/Event design

  I hired Jenna to do event design planning as well as the wedding day coordinator. She had good reviews and at the beginning, she seemed attentive and organized. However, soon after signing the contract and putting the deposit down I felt there was a lack of communication. There was emails that were never answered and when asked she had responded that her assistant had opened them without her knowledge. I would send multiple emails and it would take over a week for a response. It took months to get a mock up table decor. It wasn't until the month of the wedding that she started communicating more about the wedding decor. At this time I had figured most of the decor details on my own. Jenna was still asking decor questions a few days before the wedding day. I feel like these details should have been addressed much earlier. There were some positives as Jenna did make it all look beautiful in the end but she did forget some details. Overall, it was a stressful time planning a wedding. I expected more from Jenna. Hope this helps future brides out when looking for a wedding planner/day of coordinator.

Through the whole process, she was responsive, provided great advice, was supportive of our hopes and ideas for our wedding, and on the day of, she ensured everything went smoothly. She decorated the venue exactly how I had envisioned, helped order our late night snack pizza that evening, and was so helpful in cleanup. Would highly recommend. Hiring Jenna allowed my husband and I to be like guests at our own wedding, and just enjoy each moment.
