Choosing Style & Elegance Wedding and Events was one of the best decisions that we made through our entire wedding process.

As a full-time working bride with a hectic schedule and multiple weddings to attend in 2024, I knew I needed someone to help make my wedding vision a reality. The most common advice I received from past brides was to "enjoy the day," but I wondered how that would be possible while trying to manage all the moving pieces of my own wedding. That’s when my husband and I decided to hire a wedding planner—and we are so glad we chose Afzia.
From the moment we started working together, Afzia’s professionalism, organization, and dedication were evident. We had nearly two years to plan, and throughout that time, she was with us every step of the way. Whether it was answering emails, coordinating with other vendors, or helping me make tough decisions, no question was too big or too small. Afzia was always responsive and thoughtful, and I never once felt alone in the process.

The best wedding coordinator!

I’m still floating on cloud nine after our incredible wedding on August 30th, and I owe so much of that to Afzia, our wedding coordinator. If you’re searching for someone who combines impeccable organizational skills with a genuine passion for making your big day perfect, look no further—Afzia is your dream come true.
From our very first meeting, Afzia’s warmth and enthusiasm were evident.

She listened intently to our vision, offering thoughtful suggestions that only enhanced our ideas. Her attention to detail is nothing short of magical. She anticipated our needs before we even knew we had them, and every aspect of our wedding day unfolded seamlessly.

From the moment she checked in with us in the morning, I knew the day would be taken care of. I did not feel any stress at all. She kept everyone on time and if things weren't on schedule or she felt like we didn't need to do things, she made sure to check in with us and we truly trusted her to take care of the day. She was able to check in with us 10 weeks before our wedding. She helped with the itinerary and was very responsive to emails/messages. She led our rehearsal and it was smooth, just like our wedding day.

She was able to decorate the reception space with my vision. I walked in and it was absolutely beautiful. By the end of the night, all I remember was dancing and taking a photo with Afzia before she left. My husband and I had the best wedding day and it was all thanks to Afzia!!!

In addition, she took all the behind the scenes photos and videos. When she sent me the link to look through them, it was like I was in that moment again. I am grateful for these memories since we won't be getting our photos in a couple weeks.

Best day ever!

Afzia is absolutely wonderful! My husband and I had the pleasure of working closely with her in preparation for our wedding day and we could not be more thrilled with how successful and perfect our big day was. It was evident how much Afzia cared to bring our visions and dreams to life. Her role in our planning process was significant and we simply could not have pulled off a better day without her. Couldn’t survive with her!

Afzia made our wedding day a breeze! From planning ahead to set up, clean up, and communication she was an absolute rock star. I couldn’t recommend this amazing woman enough for all things wedding related.

As our "month-of" coordinator, Afzia kept us on track in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and left no stone unturned when it came to planning our big day. She has a cheerful attitude, thorough process, thoughtful ideal and very calming presence that made the wedding rehearsal, ceremony and reception go smoothly.

With Afzia's help, everything about our wedding just seemed to flow effortlessly. We cannot thank Afzia enough for her help and would without hesitation recommend her to any couple looking for a helping hand making their wedding day a dream come true!

We cannot say enough good things about Afzia and Style & Elegance. Afzia has become like a friend to us over the last few weeks as we finalized all of the details for our wedding. She is extremely organized, helpful, caring, friendly, kind… we could go on! She went above and beyond our expectations to make sure we were prepared for our day and to make sure it went smoothly. To name a few things: She worked with us to prepare a detailed itinerary for the day while ensuring that plans remained flexible, sourced and put together our wedding favours, sourced an awesome cake company, attended the rehearsal and asked our officiant all the right questions, and hugely helped in making sure our day was perfect. She also took so many awesome candid photos throughout the day! She made so much of our stress disappear leading up to the day and on it. We were questioning whether we’d need to hire a coordinator for our day but we are SO glad that we did!!! It is most definitely a worthwhile investment. Thank you Afzia (and Sarah)!!

Great experience, took away so much stress

We had our wedding this past May and worked with Afzia as our day-of coordinator. She was always great to deal with and was ready to help us with every detail. There were a lot of things we hadn't thought of and with Afzia's help we were able to find out what those were (and get stressed out, before immediately de-stressing because now we knew) and worked with her, our other vendors, and friends/family to get it taken care of. We met with Afzia in the fall of 2019 to start the process of planning a wedding. We didn’t know what we were doing so we thought it would be best to leave it to the professionals. We are absolutely sure we made the right decision after three pandemic related postponements we finally got to have our day at the start of 2023; it was perfect all because of her hard work. She truly is a professional.
On the day she asked us two questions: 1) are you ready to start?, and 2) we’re a little ahead of schedule, do you want to take photos with all of the guest tables? The second questions was an on the fly idea to fill a 30-minute gap before dinner that would have otherwise been a lull. Her quick thinking gave us a memorable moment as our guest thought up themes and made funny faces for the photos.
We had a fantastic day together where we could focus on each other because we knew that she was on top of things. She had detailed plans and acted as a hub for all of our vendors to connect. She was able to help us to understand the contracts we were signing with our vendors and helped us to find reputable ones that reflected our wedding style.
Afzia was easy to get along with, a pleasure to work with, and she really knows her stuff. We would absolutely recommend her to friends and family looking to plan their big day.

Simply amazing!!!

Afzia is the most incredible wedding planner we could ask for!! She worked so hard to make each detail of our wedding perfect!
