We never understood the true value of a Wedding Coordinator until we saw the T&R Events team in action at our wedding ceremony and reception.

Tajrean and her team went above and beyond to ensure we could focus on each other, our guests and the overall day without feeling any stress. Along with the usuals, our wedding had many DIY components and T&R was able to ensure it was all set-up exactly how we envisioned - an impressive feat since we both have very high expectations!

Though they do an amazing job at keeping everyone on schedule, executing and adapting to last minute changes (e.g. unpredictable weather during an outdoor ceremony!) - T&R sets themselves apart by doing the little things. From constantly resolving logistical issues without us ever knowing, to even running out last second to pick up q-tips before an entrance (seriously), we could not have done this wedding without you.

We hired T&R Events to coordinate our wedding and cocktail reception this past summer. Taj and her team went above and beyond our expectations - from the multiple prep meetings prior the event, to brainstorming new and fresh ideas with Taj, they ensured that every detail of our event was executed flawlessly! Indian weddings are always a lot of work. With hundreds of guests and numerous events, there will always be drama and unexpected turns.

Taj and her team handled every situation professionally and were able to effectively deal with bumps in the road prior to and during the wedding day, which otherwise could have had the potential to ruin the entire event!

We had the wedding ceremony in the morning at our mosque, and had a cocktail reception that same evening at Eagles Nest Golf Club. Taj had team members at both venues prior to each event to make sure everything was going as planned, and had one assistant with the bride's family, and another with the groom's family. She also specifically had a male team member come and help out during the Nikkah ceremony (in which the men and women are separated), just to make sure the final touches were laid out!

I would strongly advise any bride out there to hire them to coordinate your wedding - it's not realistic to say that you will be relaxed and stress free on your wedding day - no bride can ever be - but with Taj and her team, it's the closest to stress free you will ever be! You can give your bridesmaids and family members a break and let Taj and her team handle the rest!!

Hiring T&R Events for their day-of-coordination services was one of the smartest decisions we made. I felt as though I already had my wedding vendors and theme picked out but I needed someone to execute it while we would be on stage. Tajrean and her team did just that. She met with me about 3-4 times before my wedding and even visited the venue twice before. During our meetings I didn't feel rushed, she respected my requests and gave me good feedback based on her experiences. I asked that our face/names not be posted on social media and they maintained that agreement up until today-very professional.

On the day of there were 4 people my family could call on for anything, they followed my instructions perfectly and most importantly took the initiative to make a judgement call when they saw something not going as planned. Beyond their services the feeling of knowing on your wedding day that your closest family and friends can relax and socialize is priceless. I would definitely recommend hiring T&R Events for any social events.

Unfortuntely, Taj did not perform to our expectations or even come close (I will update this review with key details I sent her as to why were were not pleased, yet she has not responded to address those concerns). She was very happy to take our deposit but right after that, became unresponsive and unattentive to our wedding planning. We came to her with a very tight timeline and tight budget and she assured us it was all possible. Ultimately, she delayed our wedding, provided no due diligence to what our budget was, didn't provide any guidance of expenses we should be budgeting for, made us run around the GTA to look at venues ourselves and made us look like idiots in front of the vendor. I've emailed here numerous times to get a response as to why she won't refund me the rest of my deposit even though her own contract says I am entitled to. It has been more than 3 months now and rather than come clean and explain things, she has put me on ignore. If anyone is so inclined to go with Tajrean, please do not give her a deposit - set up deliverables and pay for work performed. Feel free to connect with me if you want to hear my experience. If you're still inclined to go with her, that is your prerogative.

Aminder and I were basically saved by Taj. We were planning our reception in Toronto while I was studying in Boston. Initially, we truly believed that we would be able to plan everything without a coordinator. We soon realized it was not as easy as we thought... which is when Taj entered our lives. During our first meeting, she took control of all communication with our vendors. She also kept us updated on all the things we needed to do before our big day. With our busy lifestyles, the constant email communication with lists and reminders helped us stay on track. An example of her efficiency prevailed when we tried to ignore choosing a cake. Taj had me send her a picture of a cake that I liked and the next day we had a contract to sign. There are several other examples I can share about how Taj helped us plan and coordinate our reception, but her hard work and dedication to her clients really stuck out in non-conventional ways. The night before our reception we had a pre-party planned. Taj met up with us at our hotel , helped Aminder and I finish getting ready (yes- ironing Aminders clothes, helping me do my hair), while simultaneously going through all the last minute details for our event. The best part was... she brought me my favourite food item: donuts! We cannot thank Taj and the girls at TR Events enough for all their help! Taj you are not just my coordinator, you have also become a friend!

It was a pleasure getting T&R events for our event, in Dhaka, Bangladesh.We had no clue how to get along with the theme and stuff, but she managed to do everything within a week and it turned out amazing. I had the pleasure of having Tajrean Assist with the planning of my wedding. I contacted Taj with a very brief description of what I had in mind and that I was having a Christian wedding. Another planner whom I had contacted prior to TRE told me that she wasn't able to take me as a client because she didn't think she could facilitate the Christian wedding part of my event. Hiring T&R Events was one of the best decisions we made! Tajrean did everything we asked for, and was consistently above and beyond our expectations. Everything she did, from her vendor recommendations to alternative ideas of what we could include in the wedding, to her organization, encouragement, persistence with vendors and just getting everything right, made the whole event flow perfectly.
