The Event Design Co. was such a pleasure to work with! After a bit of a medical emergency with our original planner, Kassidy jumped in and ensured it was a seamless transition, taking over perfecting the timeline and corresponding with our many, many vendors. The entire time leading up to our wedding, Kassidy was always quick to respond to our questions, concerns, and made sure that all the kinks were ironed out before the big day. Kassidy and Alyssa both ended up coordinating our big day and dealt with our venue and vendors with an unmatched level of professionalism and grace. We appreciate the little things, making sure we had one of our signature drinks while we were busy taking family portraits and getting us out for sunset pictures in the middle of such a crazy night, to name a few. We can't thank Kassidy and Alyssa enough for making our wedding dreams come true :)

We hired Event Design Co a year out from our wedding date. Our planners were Katie, Rachael, and Alyssa. I cannot say enough nice things about all of them. They were with us every step of the way, incredibly responsive, and pulled off everything I could have imagined. They all but eliminated my wedding stress because they were on top of every detail. I highly recommend The Event Design Co; they are worth every penny.

Wow.. we are just so speechless with the level of professionalism and personalized care that Katie gave us during the planning process. From the start Katie was on our side, walking us through the daunting process of planning through COVID. Katie cares so much about making your day special. If you’re even reading this review you’re contemplating hiring a planner, and I will give you this advice: DO IT!!! It is worth the extra sleep you get at night, the lowered anxiety, and the enjoyment in the process. You need Katie in your life.

I cannot stress this enough: we could not have done this without Katie and her team from The Event Design Co. We decided to go with the month-of-coordinator and ladies/gents - to this day my husband and I both agree, it was the greatest decision we made throughout the entire wedding planning process. Katie was so good with communicating with us, reaching out to us and making herself available to us - even before our Month-Of began. The month leading up to the wedding is when Katie and her team took the reigns and she was amazing! Her team set up our venue, coordinated with our other amazing vendors, and handled everything with such poise and professionalism. There will always be things that dont go as planned on the wedding day, it's a fact. Some things didnt go as they should have at my wedding...but, I HAD NO IDEA until after the wedding; in my opinion that is the true testament to how good Katie and her team was. She handled every hurdle that came and went above and beyond. I couldnt be more thankful!!

Katie was an absolute gem to work with - I could not imagine putting on a wedding without her support. She was extremely organized and agile, allowing all the planning to fit in and around my schedule - I was out of the country for the entire planning process and only arrived back 6 weeks before the wedding! She took charge and direction with the venue and all the vendors, making the lead up to the wedding day stress-free and the day of the wedding just perfect. I had nothing to worry about the day of as Katie had a hold on every detail - from table set up to staying on top of reception of schedule. I would highly recommend Katie & the Event Design Co. I didn't really think I needed a "month of" planner but I am SO glad I got one. Katie helps organize everythingggg and is super friendly and responsive. We had a few performances on wedding day and everything was executed perfectly because Katie took care of it all. She also made surewe were on schedule the whole day - which trust me as the bride you do lose track of time. Would definitely definitely recommend!! Thank you Katie !!!

Katie Watkowski and her team were ABSOLUTELY amazing! If you are thinking of booking a coordinator but have not been convinced to do so, this will be the best money you spend. Katie was able to take all the month of stress away by connecting with all our vendors, asking all the right questions, and creating the day of schedule. I received several compliments from a number of wedding party members, guests and vendors about how awesome she was. She took our vision and helped ensure nothing got in the way of fulfilling it. Even with a couple set backs and bumps in the road she was able to come up with on the fly creative solutions, which made the day perfect. We had the pleasure of working with Katie Watkowski and The Event Design Co. for our wedding on May 4th, 2019. Our wedding was very much a DIY affair, but hiring Katie as our month of coordinator was definitely one of the best decisions we made! From the first conversation, she totally understood our vision for the day. My husband and I planned a cocktail style wedding with a late start (6pm) that was to take place all in one space which involved a room flip with our guests still present. When we expressed concerns about whether our plan was feasable she quickly put us at ease and said she was excited to start planning it. She provided her expert opinion on many things including how much alcohol to order, and whether we should bother hiring a car service. Her great advice helped us save time and money. Throughout the process Katie was an excellent communicator, and was very proactive in contacting all of our vendors and friends involved in the day. She also tailored the service she and her team provided to us based on our event style and needs. No task was too big or too small for Katie! On the day of the wedding she arrived at our apartment to help us transport some personal items, and I swear she was almost as excited as we were. She along with her asistant Emily, did an exceptional job excecuting the set up of our DIY decor, really capturing the fun, yet elegant aesthetic we were trying to achieve. Throughout the event they kept our tight schedule moving and were there to address any concerns or answer questions that we or our guests had. They worked well with our caterers and venue staff and were cheerful and proffessional. They also genuninely seemed to have fun which was important to us! The Event Design Co. team was crucial to the success of our big day. We truly believe that whether you are having a DIY event like ours, or a lavish black tie affair, they are going to make your wedding the best it can be!

Katie & Event Design Co are incredible. Katie was an immense help leading up to our wedding day and the day itself went off seamlessly. Our guests were amazed at the timing of everything, how everyone knew where to be and when, etc. Katie is on the ball, communicative, caring, responsive and there to help you every step of the way. On the day of, we didn't think of anything, and that was the best part of all...just enjoying the moments with family and friends.
