Alex was the planner for our wedding on Sunday, October 7th at The Burroughes in Toronto.

She is an absolute gem! Hiring her was one of the best decisions I made. She’s meticulous, super on the ball, has a keen eye for detail and above all else is a lovely person to work with.

I opted for her partial planning package, so she supported me through each step of the planning process making it fun and stress-free.

By the time the big day rolled around she knew my vision inside and out. She executed everything to perfection, taking care of every little detail so I didn’t have to worry about a thing.

I chose Weddings by Alexandra to be my planner after doing a shoot with her and her organization and attention to detail were phenomenal. I got engaged in April of 2020 (1st wave of the pandemic) and we booked Alex around July/August for our August 6 2022 date - no rescheduling required, thankfully!
So for 2.5 years, Alex helped bring my wants and dreams for my wedding day to fruition. I had also been dealing with some stressful personal family issues and Alex was always there in my corner to make sure that what I wanted, I was getting no matter who had opinions. She arranged based on my tastes all the vendors she thought worked well and made picking easy and she was a godsend for the actual wedding day too. I was not around behind the scenes on the day of but I'm sure Alex was guiding all the vendors. The best memory I have out of the wedding planning experience with Alex, was that our wedding day was such a hot hot day and after the ceremony at cocktail hour, Alex, knew exactly what I wanted - without asking, she brought me a cold beer. Alex will learn little details of you without you really knowing and she picked up on that I was a beer girl and had one ready for me right after the ceremony and It was the most refreshing! Don't delay, book Alex for all of your planning needs. She's amazing, understanding, patient and warm! Recommend her in a heartbeat!

We were lucky enough to have Alex as our wedding planner and coordinator for our big day in June. I cannot stress more that hiring her was THE best decision we made throughout this process! Not only is she professional, organized, and knows her stuff, but she's also just a fantastic person.
Alex created a full day-of itinerary, helped answer our many questions throughout the process, and crushed it on the day of. She even put my veil on just before stepping out of the car when I realized I didn't have it on! There were so many situations/issues that popped up that she just took care of and made sure we could simply enjoy the day. We didn't even find out there were issues until the day after! She even went above and beyond to contact the bakery that mixed up our cupcake order and got us a full refund. Just one example of many that prove how much she really cares about her clients and making their wedding day perfect. Ours definitely was.
If you want a stress-free wedding day you will not regret hiring Alex! Everyone who saw her work her magic at our wedding could not stop talking about how wonderful she is and the venue said the same!

Alex was SO AMAZING. Literally the best money we spent on our wedding (and her rates are super reasonable!). She is a very capable professional event planner in her day job, and does weddings as a side-hustle for now. I was pretty type-A in my organizing so planned everything myself, but I was so grateful to have someone competent and organized and enthusiastic to hand it all off to. She was very communicative and available in the weeks and months leading up to the wedding (even though we really only booked her for day-of services). She joined us for a walk-through a few months ahead of time, organized and received all the day-of deliveries, set up everything beautifully for us (including climbing ladders to hang 200+ feet of bunting) and executed my vision flawlessly. She solved all the minor and major issues that arose day-of without me ever hearing about most of them, answered a constant barrage of questions from my family, prevented people from bringing issues to me if she could solve them herself, rehearsed and organized my flower girls before i even got to the venue, bustled my dress for me and packed up every single thing at the end of the night. Despite running around doing a million things, somehow every time i looked for her to ask her something she was right there -- she might have secret magic powers? She is sweet and kind and funny and supportive and everybody loved her!

We hired Alex as our day-to-day coordinator for our September 2017 and are so glad we did! I thought I was organized enough to do it all myself but trust me - Alex is the woman you want there with you on your wedding day so that you don't have any mental lists going on. I was fairly organized but she outdid me on making sure every little detail was covered! She went out of her way to help me on the lead up the big day. She made sure everything went smoothly - from making sure my husband's grandpa had a meal first to safety pinning my wedding dress when the bustle broke! She is extremely efficient, friendly and generous and a pleasure to work with.
