Hey, I’m Jasmine!

I’m a serial small business owner and Wedding Planner based in Toronto, Canada.

I would describe myself as cheerful, highly motivated, a quick learner, and have a bit of an anxious personality which manifests into overplanning and meticulous detail picking (perfect for event planning 😅) I graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Marketing and minor in Entrepreneurship & Strategy from Toronto Metropolitan University. After working several years as a Marketing Strategist at a mid-large sized Canadian business, I decided to open my own marketing agency which was very successful for ~3 years. After working remotely and travelling around the world for some time with my now fiance, I decided it was time to pursue a long-time passion of mine: event planning. I’ve been dreaming up fun parties and events ever since I was a tween. On lined hole-punched paper, written in pencil, I still have the business plan I wrote for a full service event company written when I was 12 years old.

TRAVEL! I just came back from Greece in April and will see Dominican Republic & Italy this year as well. Feel free to ask me about all the European cities I’ve travelled and living in Costa Rica during the pandemic.

My business is called Jasmine Summers Events. We have experienced HUGE growth since our first wedding in August of 2022 and are continuing to build, improve our services, and perfect our craft. In 2023 we executed ~60 weddings, and this year we’ll do ~50. Our business has focused on volume and we really want to hone in on doing less weddings but providing a more luxury and specialized experience for each client. This is where an incredible admin and support team come in!
