I have nothing but Amazing things to say about Judi and her team at Wheelhouse Events co. This review is much over due (7+ months). I was first in contact with Judi in July 2022 after I had my engagement party and realized I would need much more (professional) help when it came to our wedding. I had about 80% of the wedding planned, and needed her assistance for setting decor up, bartending, event coordinating, and recommendations for cake and flowers. We had our wedding on September 16th, 2023 on private property at our Family cottage in Buckhorn, Ont. With my Husband and I living in the Niagara region, she was our point of contact for all of our vendors. Her and the team came for a site visit along with our caterer (Personal Touch Catering) in April. She also came on Friday to assist with the rehersal. She was available for all text/phone call/email throughout the whole planning process and put my worries at ease. Was also very helpful in answering any questions our parents had (regarding how much alcohol to buy, etc). One of her team members was able to run out and pick up our late night pizza (from Pizza Alloro) that way none of our friends our family had to leave the wedding. One of the best services I opted to have was to have her team come the next day and clean the tent up for us, my In-laws were especially greatful. Highly recommend her services.

I didn't really know what to expect with a wedding planner but needed some help. Judi and Sara went above and beyond our expectations. Even though our wedding took place in a restaurant, they made sure it looked like a country barn with lots of wood, lights and different accents all over the place. We were amazed with how much they did just by us telling them what we were looking to do. They made it all magically appear and all we had to do was show up. It was extremely comforting knowing that they understood what we were looking for with just a few in person meetings and text messages. All I can say is these ladies are miracle workers and they will make your event even better than it could be!! Thanks Judi and Sara

Judi and her team coordinated my wedding and they were complete lifesavers. Judi not only coordinated our wedding, but she also legalized our ceremony and worked closely with our florist, The Little Flower Shop Bowmanville, to deliver and set up our florals.

Judi, Shelby, and Sarah coordinated all aspects of the wedding - from setup to takedown - and were very focused on making sure they delivered on our vision. They are sweethearts and you can tell they also just enjoy what they do! They also found amazing solutions to last minute hiccups and just handled everything with grace. They even came back the following day to clean and pack up. Thank you so much for everything! You are the real heroes of the day!

100% Hands down I would recommend Wheelhouse Event Company. Judi was amazing to work with throughout the whole planning process. Truly a breath of fresh air! Someone like myself who had just moved to the area, Judi helped with every detail to plan for the wedding. She was always a phone call away and would answer almost immediately. She took my vision and made it into a reality. On the wedding day, her team was flawless and did everything to make our day beautiful.

Judi, Shelby and the whole team are simply fantastic. They are incredibly quick to respond - cue our Thanksgiving weekend texting, and back and forth emails at all hours of the night. They saw my vision and elevated it. I had no reason to worry about any small details, with Wheelhouse on the job. If you are having a wedding in Peterborough and area, hire this team. It is so worth it.

Judi worked with me through all the details of a regular wedding, then ALSO a COVID-safe wedding! Her ability to remain calm and address issues with grace (and style!) amazes me. Her services are worth every penny.

Judi in an absolute rock star. She is always kind, quick to respond and always a step a head of everything. She knows exactly what needs to be done and when, and always went the extra mile for us. You can tell she truly just loves weddings and wants everyone to be happy. Judi was amazing in helping us plan and re-plan our wedding through the pandemic. Even though our big cottage dream wedding was cancelled, she was fantastic in helping us re-plan the most intimate ceremony using the money we had already spent. She is professional and manages her relationships very well with all of her vendors. Our wedding may have turned into a small backyard wedding, but Judi really made this the most beautiful set up I could have ever dreamed of. Hiring Judi will be the best money you spend for your special day.
