Adventure Elopement to Banff National Park

I found Jasmine here on Wedding Wire. As soon as I sent her a message, she responded immediately. We had a quick conversation back and forth through messages. The questions she asked helped me understand what kind of videographer she was. A storyteller. And that's exactly what we were looking for! We hopped on a phone call and it was an instant connection. From that point on, Jasmine really took the time to get to know us as a couple. She was the first (and only!) videographer I reached out to. I could tell she was exactly who we needed.

From that point on, Jasmine really took the time to get to know us as a couple. She was the first (and only!) videographer I reached out to. I could tell she was exactly who we needed.

My husband and I are from the US. We planned an elopement to Banff National Park without ever being there. Jasmine was an incredible bank of knowledge. She helped us plan out our wedding day, including a ceremony at Lake Louise and an adventure hike/photo opportunity at Peyto Lake. She really honored everything that was meaningful to us.

Fast forward to our wedding day. Jasmine and her partner, Riley walked in the door and it was like we've known each other for 15 years! They were so easy and fun to be around. They were more than just a vendor on our day. We feel like we started a lifelong friendship in meeting them.

Jasmine and her partner, Riley, documented our entire day. They documented us getting ready before the ceremony, the ceremony, traveling to Peyto lake, BEAUTIFUL portraits at Peyto Lake, and the traveling home. Not only that, Jasmine and her partner, Riley, came back a few days later to document a few "extras" that were meaningful to us.

We were absolutely thrilled with the quality of the video and the photo gallery! Because we eloped, we decided to have a local wedding reception back in the states with our family and friends. We premiered our video during our reception. Everyone in the room felt the emotion and adventure that Jasmine and her partner Riley captured in their creative work.

Jasmine Created a Work of Art!

Jasmine was professional in every interaction we had! She made us feel at ease on camera and the whole process was effortless! We originally looked to have videography as a way to relive the day over and over again. What we got was so much more than just a "video". Jasmine captured all of the special moments and combined them in to something even more beautiful.

She uses high end equipment with crystal-clear images, making it feel like you are actually there in the moment! She has an incredible talent to organize the transitions, moments and music into a captivating work of art that makes you want to watch on repeat.

Thank you Jasmine for providing us with these memories that we will cherish for a lifetime!

Jasmine went above and beyond on my wedding day - I was worried we were behind schedule the morning before the ceremony but she kept calm and was positive throughout the whole thing, which helped me try to chill out and enjoy the moment. A Dream Come True, A True Vision

7 years ago I moved to the Rockies. Upon moving here I met Jasmine, I never would have thought of the magic that would come from meeting such a loving spirit. At the time Jasmine started off on a phone and a small travel camera she used for YouTube. It was 7 years ago I shared a dream, a dream about creating a documentary. I was starting my career, and the girl always told me to go all in, she was there to help me bring my vision to life when it came to learning how to be a mentor, how to teach and bring a photo and video team together. This lead to two people who started from...

7 years ago I moved to the Rockies. Upon moving here I met Jasmine, I never would have thought of the magic that would come from meeting such a loving spirit. At the time Jasmine started off on a phone and a small travel camera she used for YouTube. It was 7 years ago I shared a dream, a dream about creating a documentary. I was starting my career, and the girl always told me to go all in, she was there to help me bring my vision to life when it came to learning how to be a mentor, how to teach and bring a photo and video team together. This lead to two people who started from scratch to two creatives full time today in their business. She taught me a lot, she showed me my mistakes and helped me grow. She brought me courage when I had fear to leave a 9-5, she showed me how to stay true to myself and set boundaries by staying in her own and following her heart. She didn't let the world direct her art, she is her art. I am forever thankful for the day we met and all the memories we have endured. Over the time, we grew a relationship that brought the reality of life to a level of postcard dreams. Where anything can and will happen.
What happened this last summer? I wanted to create a story about how my company name came about. In that, we experienced a very beautiful once-in-a-lifetime moment by releasing an Owl back into the wild, my company name is "Owl Eye Photography". I got to hold Owls and I got to say "Be Free". The depths of this documentary is about setting one free, through the art of creativity and unconditional love. After my family underwent a huge life alternative moment in death, it awakened the life I have been given of capturing memories. There were a lot of sentimental points that Jasmine and Riley got to be a part of, which goes back to the catastrophic change at a young age. They were there to support me through a very heart-opening moment with my mom and siblings earlier this month. My family and childhood friends were a part of the documentary series which we filmed for the second time at a barn with a white horse.
I adore the connections Jasmine has made to my friends and my family over the years we have spent. She has been a part of my most important memories and pivotal life-growing moments from filming my wedding to helping me grow as a person and my business.
I am so proud and inspired by the person she has become today. She and Riley are an amazing team, they are a great couple and I love how much they live their life together through pure love, joy and creativity. After knowing and witnessing Jasmine's growth over 7 years, it is a divine blessing that she gets to be her true self, healed, loved, and shining bright like a star. Riley is the most genuine person who also dove right into his heart with his art and I have seen how much he has brought such strength and confidence to Jasmine in going all in. They are great dog parents and I'm so happy to know my friend is protected and taken care of.
I had the best summer of reflecting and creating how much Jasmine has impacted my life. She truly is here to create your vision and accommodate you while guiding you with professional articulations to the best outcome. From hiking sunrises, to snowboarding down Lake Louise, singing and playing guitar and shutting down live music sets, to running through fields and helping couples on their journey and falling in love with our partners. She is not just a creative you need to hire as Husband, Wife team, but will be an amazing friend along the way.

I could never thank her enough!

Choosing to hire a videographer was a very last minute decision for me, but I decided that I wanted someone to record our ceremony so that I could look back on it, as I knew the day would go by fast and I wanted to be able to relive the moment over and over! Best decision I made! My biggest mistake was NOT having Jasmine there to capture the whole day! The morning of my wedding, was radio silence from my photographer and Jasmine was great at calming me down, and helping me come up with back up plans incase the photographer didn't show... Our photographer experience was awful... luckily, we did hire jasmine who captured our ceremony beautifully...

Our photographer experience was awful... luckily, we did hire jasmine who captured our ceremony beautifully and handled an AWFUL experience with our photographer like a pro! She captured better angles for our video then the photographer did for our first kiss! She even sent me some still shots from her recording's so that I had a beautiful shot of our first kiss! She has a wonderful personality, and a calming demeanor to her, that even with my nervous jitters to be in front of everyone during our ceremony she was able to calm me with just her presence. She even offered after hearing how awful my photographer experience was, to do a shoot with us where we got dressed back up in our wedding attire to try to capture some wedding photos for us that I wouldn't be disappointed in! Although we haven't done this yet, I still hope to do it in the future! You will not be disappointed hiring Jasmine! It'll probably be one of the easiest decision for you to make after just one conversation with her! Like I said... I wish we would have had her for the entire day! Her work is beautiful, and you can feel her passion for it radiating from her!
