Strike Films has been creating wedding videos for a while now (since 2013) so 2020 will be their 8th wedding season! Strike has filmed over 50 weddings and edited over 100 uniqe wedding films. They are currently based out of Saskatoon and film the majority of their weddings in Saskatchewan but they love to travel anywhere a wedding takes them. Currently they do not charge a travel fee for weddings located in the province of Saskatchewan. Out-of-province weddings and destination weddings may include a travel fee depending on distance and length of stay.

This business offers a few options:

The Classic Full Wedding Day Highlight Reel: The most special moments of your day are woven together using beautiful transitions between the best camera angles and simple text/graphics to music styling of your choice (it can be fast and fun, or slow and romantic) as well as other creative edits resulting in a beautiful video between 5-7 minutes in length.

The Timeless Full Wedding Day Highlight Reel: This option differs from the Classic Highlight Reel in that they record the audio of your vows during the ceremony and speeches during the reception. They choose the best spoken parts of the vows and speeches and intertwine it with timeless (copy write free) music to create a more personalized wedding video resulting in a shorter 4-5 minute edit.

Simple Photography: They take professional photos along side their video for the day delivering you between 150-200 edited final photos. This is a great option for those video first couples who just want simple photos from their day.

How they work

Both options include 1 videographer with HD cameras. Filming and photos begins near the end of bride and groom preparations (12pm) and continues on until 10 pm. This allows them to capture a few moments from every important event of the day from final hair/makeup touchups & putting on the dress/suit at the start of the day all the way to cake cutting & bouquet/garter toss at the end of the night… and of course they capture everything in between!
