We absolutely loved working with John and Sri from Summerfield Films for our Wedding in June. From the moment we met John, he was extremely knowledgeable, passionate, kind, creative, reliable and such a joy to work with. John takes the time to get to know the couples he will be working with. He worked with us every step of the way to ensure all our questions were answered leading up to our wedding day. Both John and Sri have such a talent for capturing such a special day for couples. Their professionalism and calming temperaments and presence made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera that they managed to pick up all the special moments and blended...We absolutely loved working with John and Sri from Summerfield Films for our Wedding in June. From the moment we met John, he was extremely knowledgeable, passionate, kind, creative, reliable and such a joy to work with. John takes the time to get to know the couples he will be working with. He worked with us every step of the way to ensure all our questions were answered leading up to our wedding day. Both John and Sri have such a talent for capturing such a special day for couples. Their professionalism and calming temperaments and presence made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera that they managed to pick up all the special moments and blended into the background seamlessly.
From our teaser trailer to our wedding video and all the raw footage, we are speechless at how beautiful John was able to put everything together. We have been watching our wedding video countless times and we cannot wait to show our future children our video for years to come. Believe it or not your wedding day does become a faded memory very fast, so having the amazing work John put into a wedding video was such a treat to watch and reminisce over and over again. We can tell immediately that each video was crafted with care and attention to detail.
We cannot recommend Summerfield Films enough! The production quality and editing that went into each unique video for our wedding day was truly something we will treasure forever. If you are thinking of working with Summerfield Films, you truly will not be disappointed. -

I just watched our highlight video for the 100th time, every time I watch it, it puts the biggest smile on my face, which is pretty much the same effect John brings every time he steps into the room. The warmth and positive energy he brings make everyone feel comfortable and at ease, which is so important on your wedding day. Combined with incredible talent, he created the amazing video that truly capture the feel and memorable moments of our wedding.
Just by talking to him, you can tell he is an incredibly kind person, at the same time, he has these creative ideas that are inspirational and unique, not like most videographers with a cookie cutter template...I just watched our highlight video for the 100th time, every time I watch it, it puts the biggest smile on my face, which is pretty much the same effect John brings every time he steps into the room. I had the sheer luck of finding John online and he was very professional and had a strong sense of creative direction. John was extremely dedicated on our wedding day and pretty much kept shooting until the end of the night. I especially appreciated his feature film cut which layered the speeches with the day's events. It was an absolute pleasure to rewatch our day and John was worth every penny. Of note, I had also received a lot of good feedback from my other vendors about John and his team.

John was so supportive throughout the entire wedding day!! He was also very skillful and super efficient with time and planning. It was a very fun and exciting experience. He added a very awesome touch to our wedding and we enjoyed a lot working with him. Our family and friends were so excited to see the video and now they just can't stop watching it, because it brings so many happy memories!! One and a lifetime experience. I get so emotional after seeing it. Can't stop watching it either! :D Highly recommended!! :DJohn was so supportive throughout the entire wedding day!! John was super easy to work with. From our first meeting forward, it was fun and full of laughter He is full of energy, which makes communication a lot easier. Our wedding started from 5am to 1am the next day and he was there every step of the way, taking some amazing angles, making sure everything was covered from top to bottom and delivered our 5min short film within one week. He replies to emails on time, very enthusiastic with his work and makes sure you feel 100% comfortable with him. I highly recommend Summerfield Films.John was super easy to work with. One of the greatest decisions we made for our wedding day on August 8th, 2015 was going with John Summerfield. We had seen one of Summerfield films work through a family friend who had used this company the year before and instantly fell in love with their work.
John's highlights film not only highlighted the big moments of the day but captured the emotions, the smiles and our personalities all in one. Not only are his films very unique in style, but the ways in which he gets to know each wedding couple and captures their day. We have glowing reviews from all our friends, family and coworkers who saw the film and thought it was the...One of the greatest decisions we made for our wedding day on August 8th, 2015 was going with John Summerfield. We had seen one of Summerfield films work through a family friend who had used this company the year before and instantly fell in love with their work.
John's highlights film not only highlighted the big moments of the day but captured the emotions, the smiles and our personalities all in one. Not only are his films very unique in style, but the ways in which he gets to know each wedding couple and captures their day. My husband and I had the privilege to work with John Summerfield, when he agreed to film our wedding in July 2015. He was very flexible and available to meet with us even before the actual wedding day to go over every single detail, thoroughly. I still remember when John walked into the room the morning of my wedding, there was a tremendous amount of positivity and excitement that came through the doors with him. I had butterflies in my stomach and my bridesmaids and family too, were excited and anxious about the day ahead; but John immediately put everyone, including me, at ease. His dry and witty sense of humor had everyone laughing and at the same time,...My husband and I had the privilege to work with John Summerfield, when he agreed to film our wedding in July 2015. He was very flexible and available to meet with us even before the actual wedding day to go over every single detail, thoroughly. I still remember when John walked into the room the morning of my wedding, there was a tremendous amount of positivity and excitement that came through the doors with him. I had butterflies in my stomach and my bridesmaids and family too, were excited and anxious about the day ahead; but John immediately put everyone, including me, at ease. His dry and witty sense of humor had everyone laughing and at the same time, he was also focused on filming us. His genuine warmth won’t take you long to warm up to and his passion for his work will be evident as soon as he starts filming.
During the course of the reception, he was interactive and made sure to come up to my husband and myself to compliment us as well as my entire bridal party; reminding us that we were doing great, the people are having a great time, and that everything was being efficiently caught on film for us. He is exceedingly tactful in capturing the tender moments; tearful eyes, gentle smiles, shouts of joy and fierce hugs! You can trust him to get every single genuine emotion on film for you.
I noticed that other videographers talk about having a particular style of cinematography, but this multitalented individual’s speciality actually lies in customising his style, to match the personality to the clients. Thus, you will get a beautiful variety of romantic, traditional, artistic, trendy and many more film styles with John. He is one in a million and we are honoured to have had him film our special day! We would hire him again in a heartbeat for future events as well.
