The Calamus package truly has everything you need! Everyone loved the dinner, the scotch and cigar bar, the outdoor games, the bonfire, and the observatory. Working with 905DJCO, included in our package, was fantastic—they kept the evening lively with great music.

What a beautiful venue
A beautiful and memorable location for a semi-outdoors summer wedding
There were a couple hiccoughs in the planning process that left us a bit more stressed than we needed to be. An initial miscommunication about the capacity of the venue left us worried for a time about how to fit everyone, though in the end Calamus accommodated our very specific requests for table arrangements without issue. We were also slightly disappointed with the initial tasting from the caterers, but when we expressed this to Mykaila she collected our feedback and arranged a second tasting for us. The food at the second tasting (and the final event) was excellent, and exactly what we wanted.

Makayla has completed weddings at various Niagara wineries for over 15 years, earning her way to become Calamus’s Sales & Event Coordination Manager. Makayla’s passion is ensuring couples have the wedding they dreamed of without worry! We’ve created an extensive all-inclusive package at Calamus, covering many important vendors within the package as well as including one-of-a-kind experiences for your guests. As Makayla truly believes the less you have to worry about for your wedding the better! It is very important to us that not only you both but all of your guests have that amazing Calamus experience on your wedding day! Since 2018, Makayla manages a professional wedding team as well as works with some fantastic vendors. Makayla and her team would be happy to assist in the planning of your wedding day!
