We had the most incredible wedding celebration at Chateau des Charmes. The staff was so helpful and accommodating, and you can't get past how beautiful the grounds are. The day was perfect - the tent was setup exactly how we had expected and the team was so accommodating given the rainy weather in the morning. They were able to make a last minute call when the weather cleared up to continue on with our original plans of hosting the ceremony outside overlooking the vineyard. The day was magical, and was even more stunning than we could have expected. We would highly recommend Chateau des Charmes as the location for your reception and wedding celebration!

I couldn’t say enough wonderful things about Svetlana and her team at Chateau des Charmes. After cancelling our destination wedding, we stumbled upon Chateau des Charmes and wow.. our expectations were surpassed 10 fold. Not only are their wedding packages reasonably priced but their service, wine and the food provided by Vintage Hotels outstanding. We got married during a day full of rain and the transition is as seamless. I recommend to everyone to visit Chateau des Charmes and see for themselves. A fairy tale wedding for certain!

My husband and I got married at Chateau des Charmes in June 2022 and it was the most magical venue! From the moment we inquired about them to the time after the wedding, the staff at Chateau have been nothing but kind! We worked closely with Svetlana and Marissa who both were instrumental in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. As I am sure everyone who does wedding planning knows, it’s almost like a full-time job! Knowing that I had nothing to worry about when it came to the venue was so helpful.

During the wedding planning process, we were connected with Queen’s Landing (caterers for the wedding) and service there was equally as wonderful! The food isn’t just delicious and fresh, but the portion sizes are great too! One of our concerns with wedding planning was ensuring the food we served our guests was enough that they wouldn’t be hungry later. We know some caterers who charge so much per plate and its only about the presentation of the food, not the quantity. It was very clear right off the bat that Chateau and the chefs at Queens Landing value quantity as much as quality!

The wine tasting at Chateau des Charmes was incredibly helpful too! Mike (the employee who helped us) was very knowledgeable and helped us find wine pairings for dinner that tasted amazing while also not breaking the bank. I know Niagara has many wonderful wineries but the wine at Chateau des Charmes is, in my opinion, the best around!

When it came to the weeks leading up to the wedding, Svetlana and Marissa kept in contact to ensure the floor plan, schedule, and event details were confirmed and to our liking. They provided great guidance where needed and made our dream for a fairy-tale wedding a reality! After showing them some reference photos for how we wanted the decorations to look, they blew me away with how much detail they incorporated! Even for things like the guest sign in table, they made sure it looked stunning! Our wedding day went without a hitch and a huge reason is because of the fantastic staff at Chateau!

Château des Charmes was the perfect venue for us. We chose our August 2021 date in the fall of 2019, prior to the pandemic. Throughout the pandemic, Svetlana (special events manager) was amazing to work with and really helped us feel comfortable during the constant ups and downs of the pandemic. We always felt supported and felt we could put our 100% trust in her and CdC.

Admittedly, the lack of reviews here made us a bit skeptical before booking, but we are so happy with our decision to have both our ceremony & reception there. Like noted in a prior review, we loved that we did not have to turn down the music at 11pm, like at other NOTL wineries. Their catering partnership with Vintage Hotels (Queens Landing) for hors d'oeuvres, dinner and the late night buffet was amazing, and we loved that we didn’t have to commit to a minimum number of guests at booking like at other wedding venues.

The property itself is so beautiful and impressive; lots of great places for photos. The rest of the staff at CdC was wonderful as well, whether that was on our day, or leading up to it during our wedding wine tasting or even on random trips to Niagara. We loved having the venue all to ourselves after 6pm and a later ceremony start at 6:30pm worked for us.

We would highly recommend having a wedding and/or reception here!

We recently got married at Chateau in June and it was the perfect summer wedding venue! Svetlana and her team did an amazing job keeping the whole event organized and keeping us on track throughout the planning process. The food was delicious (Vintage Hotels does the catering) and our guests commented on it throughout the night. The tent is already set up and ready to go (a big plus!) and it really was a beautiful backdrop for our wedding. We would recommend!

Chateau des Charmes was just amazing! Natalie Kryszik, the wedding coordinator there was super helpful, always providing great ideas and thinking a few steps ahead to have everything run smoothly. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. It was so effortless to work with them! Our guests raved about the venue and the beauty of the vineyard.

Chateau des Charmes does not disappoint! The venue is gorgeous, the staff are all extremely friendly and attentive, and having exclusive use of the property for your event makes it feel truly special.
Also I should mention that unlike most venues in Niagara-on-the-Lake, this is one of the only wineries that does not have to stop the music by 11 pm. Given that we were only just finishing dessert around this time, we really appreciated having a few more hours to hit the dance floor!
